In Addition to Intensive Seminars During This Experiential Pilgrimage You Will: Explore the famous and sacred Mayan city of Chichen-Itza, covering an approximate 60 mile area with impressive ancient temples and buildings. In particular see the "El Castillo" Pyramid. Inside the pyramid is a temple even more ancient than the pyramid itself. Feel the “Earth Wisdom” energy in the mysterious Loltun caves. The name comes from the Mayan words "Lol" flower and "Tun" stone (“The Place where the Rock becomes a Flower”) used for ceremonies by the Maya. Experience the famous Mayan complex and ceremonial center of Uxmal. You will view dramatic structures, including the governor's palace and nunnery quadrangle. Your Facilitator on this Mystic Journey Heyoka Merrifield is an artist, ceremonialist and author living in southwest Montana.
